Our Story

Founded in 2001 by Troy A. Burns, M.D., ProPartners Healthcare is a physician-owned primary care practice specializing in affordable and accessible family medicine for Kansas City residents. Unlike traditional medical practices, ProPartners Healthcare takes a solutions-oriented approach to address the longstanding pain points patients face in today’s healthcare system. Most notably, our practice uses a membership model to eliminate the hassles of insurance, to make our physicians more accessible, and to deliver savings by eliminating office visit charges, copayments, and deductibles. Whereas most healthcare facilities focus on patient volume, ProPartners has made the conscious decision to focus on value. Our primary care partners are united in their commitment to create an affordable, accessible system of healthcare that fosters the long-term health of our patients.
