Dr. Andreasen joined ProPartners Healthcare in September 2023. He grew up in Central Illinois, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University, and graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in 2015. He was commissioned into the United States Air Force and completed a family medicine residency with the joint University of Nebraska Medical Center-Offutt Air Force Base program in Omaha in 2018.
Dr. Andreasen is a two-time research presenter at the Uniformed Service Academy of Family Medicine annual conferences and is board certified in family medicine. He spent the first five years after residency practicing broad spectrum, predominantly outpatient family medicine while stationed at Air Force bases in Korea and Okinawa. He enjoys seeing patients of all ages and has a special interest in preventative health.
Apart from his day job, Dr. Andreasen’s extracurricular pursuits include playing piano, hiking, camping, reading narrative history non-fiction books, and watching cerebral (and non-cerebral) sci-fi movies. In another life, he would have been an entomologist. Or a sports journalist. But his true focus outside of medicine is working to raise three children with his wife, Tracey.
